Multicolored Chiffon panels cascade from shoulders to toes mimicking the kind of intarsia seen in kite making. Glass, acrylic and quarts beads tickle the seams along the shoulders, chest and back, almost like the frosty condensation of high altitude. The gown hangs off the body-oversized-to mimic a deflated kite form; post flight. The cabbage leaf hem, which squiggles to evoke movement, falls on either side into two small trains.
